Refunds & Cancellation Policy

At Panama With Shevy, we understand that plans can change. This Refunds & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms related to bookings, payments, cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling for our relocation tours.

By booking a tour with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. Booking & Payment Terms

  • A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your selected tour dates.
  • Your booking is not confirmed until this deposit is received.
  • The remaining balance is due one (1) month before your tour start date.

Failure to Pay Balance

  • If the remaining balance is not paid by the deadline, your tour may be postponed.
  • Postponed tours must be re-booked within three (3) months, subject to availability.
  • Re-booking requires an additional 20% of the tour cost (at the time of re-booking).

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Cancellation Timelines

21 days or more before the tour start date

  • Client receives a 60% refund of the total amount paid
  • Less any non-refundable processing or payment gateway fees

14–20 days before the tour start date

  • Client receives a 50% refund
  • Less any non-refundable processing or payment gateway fees

7 days or less before the tour start date

  • No refund will be issued
  • This is due to advance arrangements, reservations, accommodations, and scheduling already in place

3. Rescheduling Policy

  • One (1) reschedule is allowed with at least 14 days’ notice, subject to availability.
  • Requests made with less than 14 days’ notice will be treated as a cancellation and handled according to the cancellation policy above.

4. Emergencies & Exceptional Circumstances

In the event of:

  • A personal emergency
  • Natural disaster
  • Catastrophic or unforeseen event preventing participation

Your case will be reviewed individually and handled on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of the tour operator. Approval is not guaranteed.

5. Non-Refundable Fees

  • All PayPal, Stripe, bank transfer, international wire, or payment gateway fees are non-refundable.
  • The 20% booking deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

6. Accepted Payment Methods

Payments can be made securely via:

  • Bank transfer (US or local)
  • International wire transfer
  • PayPal
  • Credit or debit card (online)

Once you confirm your intention to book, an invoice will be issued with payment instructions.

7. What’s Included in the Relocation Tour Package

Each relocation tour package includes:

  • Airport pickup and drop-off
  • Ground transportation during the tour
  • 3 nights accommodation (with breakfast & lunch)
  • Visits to schools, hospitals, neighborhoods, supermarkets, malls
  • Optional real estate viewings
  • Guided Panama City & Panama Oeste or Chiriquí & Boquete orientation
  • Digital relocation starter guide (provided after the tour is completed)
  • Access to a private Facebook group (after the tour is completed)

8. Policy Acknowledgment

By submitting payment and booking a tour, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refunds & Cancellation Policy in full.
